Ballet Sumber Cipta, Jakarta presented 2 nights full of Jurgen's Ballet who has been worked for more than 15 years in this renowned ballet school.

His latest choreography FRIENDS, created by Jurgen Otte especially for Chendra Panatan who has been dancing for him since they met and worked together.

HAYATI - a new dance in progress





Performing in Goethe Haus Jakarta on the 22 and 23 of Aug 2008, HAYATI explored the bodies, movement and gestures.
The body is back, as the main instrument for dancer to translate their expression, HAYATI bring the beauty and mystery of body. Chendra Panatan, the choreographer worked out the possibilities of dancer's bodies to create many images of biodiversity (animals, plants). The rischness of surrounding was transformed into a fascinating choreography.

Collaborated with METAdomus, an ethnic contemporary Indonesian music group and dancers from Maniratari, Solo and Kreativitat Dance Indonesia, Jakarta - Chendra Panatan executed wild imagination of nature. It's all in his new dance in progress - HAYATI

CROSSINGS - in Alicante Festival






Chendra Panatan and company performed "CROSSINGS" for the opening of the 23 Festival de Musica Alicante 2007 at the Teatro Principal. Together with Ananda Sukarlan, Chendra Panatan performed 3 works of Ernesto Halffter: Mekela, Nang-Matcha and Legende Cambodgiene. The second program was a collaboration work with Indonesian composer, Syarial: Rajam and Dendang Sikambang.

The dancers were Bianca S Pulunga, Naree Kim and Chendra Panatan. The musicians were Ananda Sukarlan (pianist), Mercedes Carretero (flute), Dagmar Remtova (violist), Alfredo Anaya and Javier Belichon (percusionist).

Ars Amatoria - the cantata of LOVE



Starting this new year 0f 2008, Ananda Sukarlan's ARS AMATORIA was premiered for Jakarta New Year Concert. Artistically designed by Chendra Panatan, the cantata of love staged in a grand stage of Graha Bhakti Budaya, TIM - Jakarta. Based on the poem of Sapardi Djoko Damono, Ars Amatoria featured Indonesian maestro, Rainier Revireino (baritone), Fitri Muliati (soprano), Cavallero Male Singers and Seven Chorale's children choir.
